Not too big of a deal but I just thought I would post this... On the midway near corkscrew they dug up a flower bed and paved over it. Again this isnt too exciting I just wanted to point it out... you can see it on the pagoda cam on cedar points website.

What? This is Top Thrill!?!?!? I thought I was riding Iron Dragon!!

Which is probably a good idea. I can't remember how many times I've tried to go through there and had to wait to pass everyone. It's like following two semi's on a two lane highway.

I'm not seeing it... where exactly was this flower bed? I know that Bing's aerial views aren't up-to-date, but the 2 flower beds between Sky Ride's last cable tower and station remain (as seen on CP's webcam), as does the flower bed (or at least the tree in the flower bed... also seen on the web cam) situated under Corkscrew (prior to the corkscrews).

You can see it on the pagoda cam. It's blocked off by caution tape and cones. It also looks like there is one up by the bumper cars. It is right before the end of skyline...

I see where they've re-paved sections of the midway. I just don't see where they've removed a flower bed and paved over it.

I think you need glasses raptor - the beds are all accounted for.

I'm having trouble seeing it as well.

There was a question about it on the blog. They just replaced concrete. No flowerbeds were harmed in the making of this thread.

Speaking of changes, it looks as if Sky Ride is testing!

I see there is a photo in the story about comsumer spending of new concete pavement on the midway between the games and Maxair. That area was flaking and cracking badly last year. I was wondering if it would be replace over this winter. For concrete that was only 4 years old it was in very bad condition.
