I know I am heading that way! I really had a blast at the last one! It would be cool if CP would have a sale like that on items they want to sell off. I know they will put them on clearance, but the deals I got at the Tradewind sale in December was incredible!

Don't worry Bryan, I think the Jerry and Olga mugs I got last time are still the best. :)

Jen wanted to get Jerry and Olga mugs from KI on Sunday, but we couldn't find Jerry. :-D

Yesterday was a lot of fun! They had a lot of new stuff out for this sale. I got one bag and stuffed it about 5 times its capacity. They had some SF WoA and SF Ohio and Seaworld Stuff. It was really busy and many people had 4 or 5 bags. It was a great time. I bought a platinum pass yesterday and processed it with no one in line. The pass center was open just for the day of the sale and will open next week for processing. They also had a table outside with older items that were for sale (not included in bag) from GL before premiere and a lot of SF and Seaworld stuff. They also had signs and advertisement boards for sale a long with blown up pictures from the wildlife side of SF.

The Geauga Lake Holiday Sale is tomorrow; Saturday, December 5, 2009. The sale is at the Tradewinds Giftshop near the main entrance to Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom from 9-4. The season pass center will also be open during sale hours. Bags are $10 +tax.

These sales are a lot of fun and have a lot of good stuff. I'll be going tomorrow to get some stuff. It is a great way to stock up on old Geauga Lake stuff. So come stuff a bag!

From what we were told at the sale, this was the last sale they were going to have. By 2, it was getting pretty thin in there! The people working there are always very nice and helpful!!

The shirts were getting pretty scarse. Most of what was left were kids sizes.

Has anyone been to the other Castaway Bay Sale, I think it was a weekend or two ago. Is there anything good/worth a drive for?

I would assume it is the same stuff they tried to sell at the snoopy store in the park. They also had the paper bags. the tradewinds hard the "adjustable" plastic bags.

At the Snoopy Bag-Sale on closing day they had boxes and boxes of stuffed animals and 2008 T-shirts. The sale didn't offer much but on the website for this weekends sale it says T's, logo gifts and etc.

I don't know about all of you but the whole Geauga Lake closing really hurts me. Im actually really sad. I was there a couple times. I was there when i was 7 or 8 and sea world was still there. I remember sitting in the stands by the lake watching the roller coasters and seeing the observation tower. I remember like it was yesterday. I was there when It was six flags and again its final year open. This really SUCKS!

I dont know of anyone who wasnt upset over this but NO one was going to the park. The park was empty-you could literally reride any of their rides all day long. Your post even indicates you didnt go all that much. A couple visits here and there (and especially by us season pass holders) didnt make CF any $$.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing-I am sure we ALL would have made it a point to support the park's attendance had we known. I know we went as much as we could (even ditching CP trips to do it) but again, hindsight.

I know I got tons of cool GL shirts (thanks Jason!! :)) and even got a GL hoodie and a few postcards at the ACE Christmas party Saturday (Im sure thanks to Jason too)

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that?

^^ You do realize that post is a year old right?

If I can get a way up there I would not mind checking out the sale. Would be nice to see what I can find.

The sale was just 2 weeks ago. It was nice for somebody to recycle this topic insted of starting a new one. They told us at the sale that that was going to be the last one. It was pretty bare at the end of this one.

I can't imagine there would be much geauga lake stuff left after all the sales they have had at tradewinds.

I did find a few geauga lake stuffed animals on closing day in the snoopy store.

From what I've read tonight, most of the companies Apollo acquires keep their names and brand identities.
