troika question???

what year did they get the troika?also has it always been in the same spot?and what does troika mean?i know i know lots of questions..

Trokia opened in 1976 (the same year as Corkscrew) and has always been in the same spot.

Troika is a Russian word, and roughly means "3" (makes sense).

There's a white converse-like tennis shoe on top of a small building just south of Troika. It's been there since about 1987, if that building's still there. I saw it two years ago, but it was quite decayed...
