Does look a lot like the new coaster at Ferrari World. Of course it wont be as big as the one over on that side of the planet but this will be sure to thrill.

Edit: Also looks similar to Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit, but that doesn't have the double layer thing.

Sounds like I might be incorrect. This KD ride may just be the second in its class here in the states.

^ It does look like an Intamin. If not, maybe Vekoma

I just noticed that the part where the track connects to the support some are square, and some are round that is kind on weird...

We've got soooo many similarities with this thing from various manufacturers. The support style looks like the new Intamin square design but the track connectors don't match. I cant really think of any other manufacturers that do this style support. And while the track has SOME Intamin, Maurer Söhne and Premier similarities it's WAY different than something any of them usually do. I really have no true guess here as to what this is. But whatever it is, it's built to last.:)

Considering that no one has posted anything in 10 days, probably not.

What did he say that wasn't nice? He simply stated what was obvious.

I think the better question is: Now that we know KD is getting an Intamin giga in 2010, assuming the construction is for a coaster, would it open in 2010 or 2011?

What are you asking?

When KD's new coaster will open? Look here.

CP's new ride is supposedly coming for 2010.

Who said KD is getting a giga? The faked post on the KD fansite?

Yeah, I think they were just comparing the two coasters' packing slips.

Is anyone else beginning to doubt the addition of a coaster for next year? Maverick was well under construction by this point last year...

And operating as well!...and the year before at this time too!
