I'm a '67 baby like Trent. After looking at the suite of attractions that came in that season, I would have to say I'm a rotor baby. You'll love me until I the floor drops out on you.

1986 - Thunder Canyon, and the year when Dick was made president and CEO.

Daniel Smith, Avalanche run was re-themed to Disastor Transport in 85'. So I guess we have you to blame for that eye sore. ;)

My bad. I read this quickly: "1985: Avalanche Run (re-themed as Disaster Transport in 1990)", and thought it said that it was re-themed that year.

I guess you are safe on not being blamed Daniel. :)

I am glad I had such a cool year to be born! I love the Wildcat! Plus it is neat to know I was born 100 years after the birth of the point!

October 1957 - which means that, for me, the entire Point was added that year as it was purchased by its modern day founders (Legros/Roose).

1970 - Cedar Point celebrated its centennial year. Wildcat, an Anton Schwarzkopf metal tracked coaster, opened. Bayern Kurve, Dodgem #2, Monster, Schwabinchen, Calyso, and Super Himilaya opened. Centennial Theatre opened. Kiddieland opened with 14 rides. Sealand, a large walk-through marine area that exhibited sharks, penguins, and other aquatic animals, opened on the beach.

The Disney archives were created in 1970.

The Odd Couple premiered on my birthday in 1970.
