Mantis fog?

Why didn't CP put mist-ers in the lagoons for Mantis? I love the Iron Dragon fog, when its turned on. Has anyone been on the Hulk at IOA? That has a great fog effect as well.

Let me guess, you got the idea of Mantis fog from the Promo right. That would be sweet if they had either misters or a fog machine somewhere along the ride, like the corkscrew or something.

That is a good idea!

It would be a really cool effect at night to put colored lights on it (like Power Tower) but instead direct the lights on the fog. They could turn the fog different colors over the lagoon. That would be really cool.

I agree it would be an awesome effect, but the problem is the open spaces. On the Iron Dragon, if there it the littlest bit of wind all the fog disappears and it is never as thick as you wish! The great fog effect on Hulk at Islands of Adventure is because you are going through a tunnel under the footbridge right then, so the fog can't get away. If they were to construct a similar tunnel over some point of Mantis (going into the inclined loop comes to mind) then it would really be able to add up.

Going through the whole second half of the ride in fog would be really sweet. At night you would get SO lost!

I have been on Hulk at IOA and I have to say that ride is great! The water shooting up right before the cobra roll is a great effect also the foggy tunnel. Mantis shoud get somthing like that.
