"This thread is NOT a debate thread, but instead to be a collection of people's personal feelings and thoughts"

Jugga, I read the post and I have selective comprehension, like, Today I feel Pretty :)

I feel Pretty too! I feel Pretty, and Witty, and Gay! Well, maybe not the last one. But I am intensely happy. :)

The topic of why we are here has been discussed since the beginning of time and I don't see that "thread" ending after 9 years. It was cool to see what people thought about Cedar Point in 2000 and the guy who added the anniversy of the MF made an interesting point as well. If it is important not to post here someone will close it. I wouldn't mind hearing people's thoughts on how the point has improved since 2000 or any additional thought or feelings they may have about MF or Cedar Point in the year 2000.

Nope. But I wouldn't mind living there. Every time I go out to LA I fall in love with the place. Palm trees, beaches, mountains, celebrity spottings . . . it's all worth the two hour commutes and menu of ever-present disasters. :)

From 1999:

"I think attendence will remain the same. The admission hike will turn some people off, especially those who could care less about a 300ft coaster and want more family attractions."

Some things never change

And some do:

"The key difference between a 3.5 and 4 million guest year will depend on the weather on weekends in June and late August/early September."

(not that weather isn't still the key, but discussing the difference between 3.5 & 4 million, as opposed to the difference between 3.0 and 3.3 million)
