Different Coaster Colors?

A freind and I were discussing whether they should paint the Magnum, Raptor, and Mantis different colors than they are. I think there good how they are, but what do you think?

This should be put in the General category and I asume it will be soon.
I agree but remeber that Mantis wasn't always going to be Mantis. COUGH*BANSHEE*COUGH! ;)

I would like to see the coasters get a new color.
Double Loop at SFO got a new color.
It makes them look newer, and freshens them up,rather than repeating colors.

SFO double loop was black to signify death, so they changed it. Not really but it sounds like a good reason. I personally don’t think black is a good color anyway, except on like the steel ph. I mean Phantoms revenge. Looming over kennywood is this one single giant black coaster, which I think works well. Actually the double loop did wave a death, but it was not the parks fault. A girl did not adhere to the warning signs and had an asthma attack on the ride, which she died after. The only thing the park did wrong is described in the suit below.


...The suit alleges that the park's medical personnel were unqualified, that they took 15-20 minutes to respond to the girl, and that they took too long to call an ambulance. The suit seeks compensatory and punitive damages.

15-20 Minutes. What Hustle. At least the coaster was not invisible or else they would never found it.

I think CP should paint half of each ride a new color, then use PKI's fuzzy math and say that there are 28 coasters in the park :)

Phantom's Revenge will be green. No more black at Kennywood.

I thought I heard they were removing the Double Loop at SFO. Has anybody else heard this? Kind of dumb to repaint it and then remove it. Oh well, that's SF for ya.

Double Loop was supposed to be removed for a Jokers Jinx/Outer Limits style ride. That plan fell, DL stayed, and they built Villain.

Actually, there will be more black on Phantom's Revenge than on Steel Phantom. The entire support structure is black. Only the track is green.

id have to say if they painted magnum grey and raptor hot pink,or even Millennium Force turquoise,id not really care :)
id bet they'd still be the same rides,but I sure hope millennium forces blues stays pretty as long as corkscrews does.
