Pictures of first drops

I was wondering there are some pictures of any or all of the coasters at CP....from on top the hill looking down......thanks Dan

The T's had one from Millie in the blog last year.

Other than that, they are pretty hard to find unless you can find an op who took one while doing a lift walk. PB won't allow anyone to post ones that were taken while riding as it is against park rules (and Ohio law) to take pictures while riding.

I remember Dan Haverlock had one of him at the top of Maggie, but I don't think he had one looking down the hill.

Oh sorry. I though that was from a lift walk type thing. I didnt think it would be bad if RCDB had it. Ill take it down.

I did not want to get anyone in trouble for posting illegal pictures.........just looking down the tracks from the first hill that gets me excited...

Last Oct 21 it was like that...halloweekends are real bad...

Aug 18, 2007 the queue was full. Ha ha - that reminded me of Top Gun for some reason. LOL! Man, the little things crack me up. :)

There was another picture that Too_fat took down which was taken from a train as it crested MF's hill. That was the one I was referring to.

Does anybody have one of Magnum? That's a hard one to get unless you have special privileges or your spending time at Soak City. They should have a walk way to that part of the park where you can get pictures of Magnums Hill.

He means looking down the hill from the top, Shawn. Pretty hard to do while in Soak City unless you enjoy climbing roller coaster structures (and the park/police won't enjoy you doing that)!

Its not hard to get a picture of Magnum's drop, there is a walkway that goes along the beach all the way out to the pretzel. You can easily get a picture of the hill from there.

A picture looking down the hill though is a bit harder to come by.

that is clearly not mean streak... the coaster in this picture has a line! ;)

I have a cool one of Raptor at home as it heads down. It was taken in the early evening so the lights are on the games and what not. Not sure if its a "legal" photo. The park looks empty but i dont know.

I have the one of Millie too. Didn't realize that one wasnt aloud.

I was there in Oct. last year and waited about 1.5 hours for MS. We were desperate. I do believe it was the 21st too.
