2 questions with one post

I know cp like the back of my hand, but sandusky is another thing. I am not used to going into town. What i wanted to see if i could find out is:

1. Are there any good dive bars around the point somewhere.

2. I am looking for a really nice restraunt so me and my gf can have a upscale meal while we are there next week.

Does anyone have any reccomendations or input to help me out. thanks

Not familiar with Sandusky, but I always have a great upscale meal at the Bay Harbor right at CP. The prices are pretty decent, the food and service are great, and your still right at the Point.

Bay Harbor is not there anymore. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. Cause I am not 110 percent on this!!!

You're wrong. Maybe you are thinking of the Boathouse which was replaced by Famous Dave's.

I don't know if it's "upscale" enough for you, but I've always really enjoyed the Damon's in Battery Park. It is quite a bit nicer than other Damon's locations and is situated on the water with a great view of CP in the distance. From the causeway coming from the park you'll take a right onto First St (right by the CP dorms) and then a right on Meigs and follow that until you see Battery Park Marina on the right.

I miss the Boathouse. We used to eat there all the time.

As for dive bars, there aren't many dives bigger than Louie's. Although it's mostly a CP employees bar.
