MF Opinions

Yeah, I know the season isnt over yet, but I cant help it after reading about how it is "boring" or "just big and fast". As simple as yes or no, do you think MF is "boring" or not as good as it should have been?

I say no it isnt. I know that this should be influenced by the amount of rides each person has.

I think It's a GREAT ride, I'm don't have a complaint.

I think that it is the SINGLE GREATEST ROLLER COASTER EVER!!! My last ride of the season was up front, and I can't think of any possible was to make a better roller coaster. I've ridden it 9 times, and I think it is AWESOME!
It has everything you need in a coaster, a great first drop, speed, airtime, smoothness, overbanked turns, and just a grreat ride.

I think its is a very good coaster, yes, it could be better...how...I dont know, but in a way...EVERTHING could use improvment.

"HOW CAN YOU HAVE ANY PUDDING IF YOU DONT EAT YOUR MEAT?!"
I wouldn't go so far as to call it the "single greatest roller coaster ever", but I will say it's my personal favorite of the ones I've been on.

Everyone loves the speed, the turns, and the airtime, of course, but whenever I catch myself thinking about it, I'm usually dreaming of the lovely positive G's pulled at the bottom of the first drop. So nice.

Millennium Force is boring. The first drop doesn't hurt @ all... Magnum is the King. The speed is the only thing going for this one! Sorry all you MF fans~

-------------
Went FULL FORCE 141 times
Conquered the Magnum 2069 times
Kicked the sky 622 times
Millennium Force is "all that"...Especially at night!!
Millennium Force gives you that "Oh my gawd, why do I have my hands up" on the first drop. I think the ride is cool, no one can say it is a bad ride because its not, but everyone has a different opinion

Actually, I think that daytime riding is better for the awesome visuals.
"Millennium Force is boring."

Yup...so boring you rode it 141 times this year. Wow...I usually ride boring things 141 times. I mean, if I'm bored to death on it, I'm back for more. That's me in a nutshell. Those good, exciting rides are great, but they don't have the re-ride value of the boring ones.

I don't quite understand what you meant, but it's funny to me, seeing as how I got my neck hurt on Magnum's first drop.

Ha ha, you make a good point there Jman. OnRidePic Freak - what about the loads of airtime???? I don't see how it is possible to miss it in 141 rides.

MF is a very good coaster. The speed, overbanked turns, and the airtime all make it worth while. But Magnum is so much better. It may not be as fast, but is has alot more airtime and better turns than MF. I like to think of Magnum as a super woodie. You get all the hieght and speed of a hyper steel coaster, with all the bumping around and roughness of a standard wood coaster. The best of both worlds.

true, true, Monster Ride Op...but i think it's just that Maggy has had more time to develop a personality and BECOME what it is today...give MF a few years and see how you feel...once it's broken in more like Maggy is, there might be a world of difference. that said, i think MF is AMAZING!! i still think about it every day and how AWESOME it made me feel for weeks afterward!! it's definetly a great ride in its own right. best ever? maybe not, but it's right up there on top of my list. where else can you get FOUR SECONDS of airtime over a hill? not Magnum, that's for sure...where else can you go so far, so fast and where else can you see 72 hands in the air and 36 HUGE smiles EVERY time that train goes by? for now, it's my favorite and i still can't find words ro describe it to people, except to say i passed on a trip to Germany with a German Chef as guide to ride the thing its first week and i don't regret it to this day...

Servo, good point. Also I think it really depends on what you prefer. Like Monster Ride Op, you talked about "the best of both worlds". Some people dont like the roughness of a woodie (many get it from MS), and would prefer a smooth ride on MF over a semi-rough ride on Magnum. I myself am kind of indifferent. Everyone's different. ;)

Boring????? Wow! It's the smoothest, most thrilling coaster I have been on.
I read somewhere, to get 4 seconds of airtime, you need to be cruising at 88 mph. Those trains really DO fly over that hill.

Millennium Force is boring, I mean come on.
That is why I only have 101 rides on it
