How about a Mad Mouse?

I've often wondered, after riding MIA's Mad Mouse and WOF Mad Mouse type ride, why doesn't CP get one??

This is one coaster that is truly family friendly. It's better than Jr. Gemini and the Woodstock Express. I know some adults that like the Mad Mouse. My kids love it and one of them is a teenager!

I just think it is a fun coaster for everyone. They could at least consider putting one at GL if CP's out of the question.

I would like to see a highly themed mad mouse coaster. I know that cedar point does not do a lot of theming...but it would be a nice addition.

I don't think CP will get one. That coaster is Genaric and CP likes to be different.

Yeah, Wildcat is way better than any of the new generation wild mouse coasters. If they put in anything even close to that, I hope it's a Mack spinner like Knott's just put in.

Wild Cat is not even close to a Mad Mouse.

Wild Cat is a very portable ride; Mad Mouse not quite as easily portable.

Mad Mouse has tons of hairpin turns; Wild Cat does not.

I think the height to ride Mad Mouse is actually less than 48"; Wild Cat is 48".

No comparison, sorry.

^^ - actually, its a big comparison. They are 2 different designs on the same concept.

I'm split on Mad Mouse. Its a nice fun coaster, but they're all the same. I would rather see CP institute a different design.

The other question is, is S&S making them? They are Arrow models, and S&S may have stopped producing them after buying Arrow.

^Amen. That would be sweet.

I don't see CP getting a mad mouse. Wildcat is pretty similar to one, and the gp probably wouldn't know any difference between the ride types.

Wow, that screaming squirrel looks bizarre. I wonder if it's an enjoyable experience. It just looks so...weird.

The only "wild mouse" coaster I would be happy to see at CP would be the screaming squirrel. That thing looks nuts.

Mad Mouse coasters are really fun, and if they were to get one, I'd hope S&S provides it using the old Arrow design. The one at the Myrtle Beach Pavilion was pretty wild!

That Screaming Squirrel looks like it would fit perfectly in the place where Demon Drop is. Coincidence, I think not :).

Also the fact that Knotts put in a Mad Mouse makes me think that CP will put in something similar soon. It looks like one of those would fit nicely into the place where the Aquatic Stadium is.

I agree with the others that CP will not be investing in a Wild Mouse coaster. Wildcat isn't exactly the same as those coasters, but it is very similar. And though the screaming squirrel does look really fun, it seems like a coaster like that could have some serious capacity issues.

I have read reports that the Screaming Squirrel is a pretty uncomfortable ride. I would imagine so if you are hanging by your shoulders for a significant amount of time. And, it sure doesn't appear to have the capacity CP would want in a ride.

Knott's didn't put in a Mad Mouse. They put in a Mack spinner. It doesn't have any similarities to a Mad Mouse other than the fact that it's a family coaster with a steel track. :)

From what I hear, Mack makes unbelievably great family coasters with high capacities. So, I would love to see one put in at CP. Plus, they're relatively unique in the US right now. So, that would be a big plus for CP.

Currently there are 2 operating and on SBNO I still keep my opinion from coastercrew.com and that is that aquatic stadium is going bye bye and they are putting in a zac spin.
