King Cobra was removed because it was a piece of crap that most people didn't like and it was a maintenance nightmare. Its ridership sucked. Removing that right didn't hurt anything.

Blasphemy! I admit it definitely had its maintenance problems, but there was almost always a line for that ride and it was definitely not a piece of crap. I rarely encountered a really short line, and when I did, I rode it like 5 times in a row.

Gotta go with Jeff on this one. I never liked King Cobra, even during the early years when it was still a novelty. Used to be I never liked any stand-ups, until I rode Skyrider at CW last year. That was a surprisingly exciting, unusual, non-ball busting ride.

I gotta go with both of you. If the ride wasn't painful enough (and noisey!) climbing up all those stairs was a PITA.
I thought Screamin Demon as lame as that was (showing my age for sure!!) was even more fun than KC.

And Raptor fan I count 5 coasters at CP with Red on them. Maverick, Magnum, Top Thrill Dragster, Mantis, and Iron Dragon. People say Magnum is orange, but I think it counts for your "some degree of Red" statement, because that orange is pretty close to red.

Actually for that just look at what the color is supposed to be red, Magum isn't orange either.

Just like what SFGAm did with Shockwave, it had the same problems.

Don't forget that Skyhawk is red too! :)

What stairs?? King Cobra had 5 or 6 stairs up to the loading platform. That's it.
