Well, the weather forecast calls for freezing rain, a high of 43 and a low of 30 on Saturday. I myself was planning on going. What do you guys think? Will they still be running everything? If so, there won't be too many people there, eh? Have any of you guys experienced worse?

I have only learned one sure thing in my 37 years on this planet: The weather cannot be predicted.

I'll be here also all 3 days. Don't let a little cold air stop you remember two more weeks and it's over for the season. How many people in nov. wish they could go one more time? Cedar point is surrounded by the lake whichis still at 65 degrees it might rain a little but i'll bet the temp will be at least 50. And yes they will run all rides. I have been there on opening days that where colder sometimes even snow and everything ran.

I was wondering about going this weekend myself. It's a 6 hour drive but if the lines are short it will be worth it. I dont mind the cold, just hope that it doesn't rain.

Just another FYI: If it gets really cold They might shut down MF just because the wheels might freeze up a little too much, and if the wind is blowing just right and blowing hard enough they will take it down also. Just a heads up.

How cold is too cold, the forecasst said low 28 and high 44 is that still too cold to run MF. If it is that will ruin my mf-ing weekend.

You think its gonna be cold as a guest-try standing on Raptor's platform loading and unloading you guys! Or worse having to do entrance or crowd control! Oh yeah and lets not forget sleeping in an unheated dorm room!
Just NO snow please!! I hate snow and do NOT want to have to mess with it during the drive from Heck.

I know towards the beginning of the operating season that they got different crews, i.e. Raptor, Power Tower, Sky Ride, to come over to MF in the cold mornings to get the thing warmed up. We would ride from 8 to 9 to get the wheels ready. Could they still do that or is the incoming weather too cold for that?
