Souvenier cups

Does anyone know if you can take a souvenier cup from a previous season to use for refills. I have some MaxAir cups I found in the back of my cupboard and was curious if I could still take them. Thanks.

I actually asked that question several years ago, and they told me that as long as it is the same size it should be ok. Hope that helps.

I believe they don't take ones from previous years to refill. Maybe if there the same size I know a friend who tried with the Top Thrill one last year and said they can't. *** Edited 7/2/2007 6:47:15 PM UTC by cmkbabie***

I've been using the same dragster cup now for about 3 years running with not 1 problem yet.

While I'm not up on current park policy, we always told our staff to never turn down a sale. But we didn't refill the cups sold at the gift shops. This sometimes caused problems for me once! You might have to shop around. The extra fine print says (not actually there but has been said by higher ups) refills for that season, not forever. But i'm sure some locations will refill it. By the way, what does the cup look like this year?? size, shape, picture, etc.....

Yeah, I have one, it's a very large cup with the maverick logo on it. Not very interesting or fun.

I can't remember but... isn't it like $2.00 for a refill? They shouldn't care weather you are bringing in a cup from burger king or a park souvenier cup to get refilled at that price. When I managed a local stop and rob we figured it out to cost about .05 to fill up a 44oz cup with the fountain pop. That's great ROI!

Yeah, the Maverick cup was like $7.99 and the refills are $1.99 each.

I have a question for all you workers out there. There is a guy selling tickets and cups on ebay.

He claims this cups are free refills, is that true? Take alook at the picture. I have not seen these cups, and where would you get them if they are free refills? Thanks for your time.

TTD is sinking too!

Those look like the Coastermania cups. The free refills were only supposed to be for that one day, although I don't know if that's what's happening in practice or not.

Hey, I heard a rumor that Top Thrill Dragster is sinking...

As always I say unless something changed, many different groups get the all you can drink cups. But as the last poster said, they are only good on the day of the outing. Most groups had the date and group name on the cup!! The tickets might be ok also, but some have only good on these dates printed on them. So buyer beware.

So the cups are NO GOOD, you can not get refills with them. They are coastermania cups. Thanks for the info, I thought it seemed weird. My family and I go the Point 3 times a year and would get cups like that to save money.
