Not that often. Your best chance to see one is when it re-opens after a shutdown, especially if they run some empty trains to "clear the system". Being on one is pretty much down to luck.

Sometimes cold weather and wind speed/direction are a factor. Usually first trains out roll back.

I've rode the DRAGSTER 125 since it has been made. I rolled back #2; on 2003 and 2005. It is really fun better then the WT. We rode it again right when it came to the Launch Pad.

I've seen more rollbacks first thing in the morning than any other time of day. Especially in cooler temperatures and if the air is damp or it just rained. No guarantees though!

Mornings, cold days, wet days (after rain), later in the season (goes hand in hand with cold days), not enough weight/not enough power. There's a bunch of situations that contribute to a rollback. Being on one is sheer luck now-a-days.

Well, you do have best chance at a rollback by getting first train. But the crew is only filling ____# rows in the morning to start the system off easy......sooo that kinda decreases the chance. But still, your chance is better with the first train.

Well, when you guys throw that empty test train after a shut down (doesn't happen all the time, but when it does) being on the next one does seem to increase chances of a roll back when I've been there.

I guess "clearing the system" wasn't the best choice of words.

It pretty much boils down to this:
"If you're going to shoot for a rollback, you must understand the subtleties of Dragster."
Then all you need is careful timing.

It rolls back about 75% of the time I am in line, but never when I am on the train! :)
