Crain near Maverick

I caught this picture today from the webcam. It was in a few images, but it wasn't clear as to what was being done. It was only visible from about 8:15 to 8:30 so it may have been gone before anyone was even in the park. Was anyone there today?

Looks almost like it could be having something to do with Thunder Canyon.

Maybe they're putting the roll back in.

Might be putting new tubes in Thunder Canyon, or doing something else involving it.

I was at the park today and Maverick was down half the day due to break line problems.

Break line problems? The employees had a long line for the break area so they decided to shut Maverick down?

At work, I really hate it when I have to fix break lines. Going on lunch brake, though, is grate.

I'm still trying to figure out who Crain is.

Maybe he meant Krang... that guy always freaked me out...

Or perhaps it was this southern baptist preacher named Rick Crain... Maybe he was going to Chick-Fil-A

;)

Jason: I hope you know I'm just goofing around... Everyone makes spelling errors...

Jeff LOL very funny!! I thought the same thing when I first read the post.

Would Cedar Point really use a crane to move tubes on Thunder Canyon? I would think that there would be an easier way if they do.

I was up there and I was there right when the park opened and that crane was gone. Yeah Maverick was down for about 3 hrs right at the beginning but I stayed and waited because as soon as I got off Maverick broke down again.

Crain near Maverick? Is that a bad thing? Should the general public be frightened?

English / Grammer / Spelling were my worst subjects. Funny thing is, now I write specs and quotes as a part of my job. Thank goodness for spell check. :)

I would say Maverick was down for about 4 hrs total while I was there, but I left at 3:15 so I have no clue if Maverick broke down after that.

Wait a second? An Intamin coaster is having downtime issues early in its first season? WHOA! When did I miss this? I thought all Intamins were models of reliability. When did that change?

It's not really down, John. They're just pretending it is, as part of the massive conspiracy that has been alluded to. If it were to run perfect, then people might suspect that CP had secretly constructed this coaster at their off-site proving grounds (accessible only via matte-black helicopter), in order to test it. Because, as we all know, its impossible to construct, test and open a ride in only 20 months. ;)

Sorry. My fault for not constructing all possible conspiracy scenarios before posting. I'll be more careful next time.
