Old Forum Archives

I'm not sure when the older forums were archived (a decision I wholly support), but I was looking for a few threads the other day which I know were within them. Any chance we could have access to the archives (a la Coasterbuzz drop down menu)?

Or maybe this is already scheduled to be worked in when the forums get upgraded?

Threads from the former Top Thrill Dragster, Wicked Twister, and Millennium Force forums were merged into General.

Which stinks because now it's much more difficult to find certain past threads in the given old forums without a working search function. Tried google, but that didn't bear any fruit.

We'll get there sooner or later.

...works pretty well for me.

Oh okay, I didn't add the "site:" portion and it didn't work. That makes a world of difference.

Why was the TTD, WT, and MF thread deleted? Is there a topic on this somwhere?

They were deleted because the discussion no longer warrants their existence. It would be overwhelming and messy to have dozens of ride-specific forums.

The forums were removed. The topics, however, were not deleted. They were merged into General.
