yeah, i agree with JS!! just do it!! what are they gonna do? sue you?? i put a homemade MF logo on the back of my jacket and didn't need permission....

Back to the issue at hand here-
(I agree though HATE Fords-give me my Toyota Tacoma ANY day)
My sign guy could NOT reproduce the CP logo exactly due to copyright issues. I knew this. What he did for me is simply found a font close to the CP lettering, copied it as close as he could (including the "wave" design) and thats how I have "Cedar Point" on my trucks bugshield. It isnt exactly like CPs-but WHO knows this but us CP nuts? Still gets the Po!nt across!
As far as the MF logo is concerned-copyright probs again, make a hand drawn "M" to look like MFs-go to a sign place-dont even tell them what it is for-they should beable to reproduce it for you no prob.
Sometimes its best not to say anything.
I have had several compliments on my CP logos from several silver tags at CP-never a comment that I did something wrong.

My fiancee has a Crockolla and it doesn't have the power my focus has...obviously you didn't have the ZTS with the super 4 cycl zetec engine...And yes, I have driven other cars...thanks...and she is from Northern Va, so I have driven the focus in DC as well...

Don't confuse copyright with trademark... not the same thing.

I notice the olive branch and will cease to argue about cars...All cars now do have the cheap plastic interior (my focus is fake wood!) anyway--cars spark a fire under me like when people say KI has more coasters than CP!

you haven't driven a real car until you've driven my 1964 LeSabre...THAT was a car..355 V-8 Wildcat engine, 17.5 feet long, chrome all over, semi trucks get out of your way...may she rest in peace...would have looked good painted MF blue...
