We watched the show on opening day and to be honest, it was not as good as the last few years. It just seemed to be lacking the energy and the song selections were bad as well.
It also seemed like the show was a short one as well. However, the band members sounded good, and seemed to be right on que.
What are your thoughts on the show?
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
I liked the show but think last year was the best year still. I agree some of the songs I didn't like that much but many of them where good. I usually notice the first day of shows are not so energy because the cast usually nervous. I know when I did a show I was shacking pretty bad and half the people are all new this year. This year show more country though I didn't notice to much rock.

Hmmm...now this is really odd. Personally, I can't stand country, but I absolutely loved the show. The band this year is absolutely amazing in my opinion. The bass player is the same guy as last year, and I think even 2005; and I'm pretty sure the drummer has played during Halloweekends. The rest of the band was new to me, however, and they really impressed me. I recognized a few of the vocalists as well. The tenor sax player this year...I had my doubts when I saw it wasn't the same guy as the last few years, but she quickly changed my mind. I liked it so much that I watched it twice in a row on Saturday, and then once more on Sunday. The first show that I caught on Saturday I sat right up at the far left corner of the stage by myself, and then I got my mom in there for the second one, and she was actually picked out by the guys for their feature (Life is a Highway), so that was pretty funny.
I can't wait to see it many more times this summer, as I absolutely loved the show. *** Edited 5/16/2007 10:51:54 AM UTC by BlueStreak64***

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
That was not the same drummer as last year. I did like the sax player. She reminded me of lisa on the simpsons.

I know the drummer isn't the same as the regular guy from last summer, but he looks familiar...I could have sworn he played during Halloweekends either last year or 2005...oh well.
Still can't wait to see the show again. The band and the vocalists were really good at engaging the audience, and that is something that makes a show like that so much better.

I think the show was every bit as entertaining as the previous years shows. I enjoyed it immensely, both the band and the singers were great.
I also liked the fact that the country songs were still very fast and had a rock feel to them.
