what ever happend to the trabant & tiki twister?

does anyone know the where abouts of these two clasic rides that where removed?all i know is that they operated in the current location of the matterhorn and scrambler.also,how long did they live at the point?

The Tiki Twirl lasted until the mid 80's. The Trabant was removed circa 1990.

Though I have absolutely no verification for this comment, I always thought the reason that those rides were removed was because they were identical (or nearly so) to the Schwabinchen and Calypso (respectively). This is based on my recollections from my earlier years so I may be completely off base with that observation, but one thing I do recall with certainty is their locations which hothitz mentions.

I liked the theme and the name of the Tiki Twister. It added character to the midway!
