Cedar Point from a plane

On my flight from Cleveland to Milwaukee, I had the honor to see CP from a couple miles high. I couldn't make out much. I could make out the parking lot, power tower, and I think a big dark area that was big streak. I tried to make out MF but I just couldn,t. This was really far away because below me was canada. Actually I don't know if I saw power tower or space spiral. I just saw a really tall white thing and I figured that power tower would be easier to see. Has anyone else seen it from a plane, if you have, say what you could make out.

I would love to fly over Cedar Point. That would be sweet!

I saw it a few times when I would fly to Chicago from Cleveland. It's really cool to see it from up there.

I saw the park on approach to Cleveland from Chicago in '98. The parking lot was the most outstanding feature because of its consistant lighting. That lot is really huge.

I've also got some chopper video shot in '89 flying around the park. What a very different skyline it was that year!

my only flight over cp was pitt-detroit,and with my luck, there was lake fog.

I remember flying along the lake with my brother and we ran into CP. Not sure on the year. around 6 years. Back then I hated coasters and CP, saying things like I will never ride magnum...my how times change.

I saw the CP before going to NY from detriot. It was cool i waited like 20 minutes watching the water coast line then THERE IT WAS!!!! A HUGE parking lot, the power tower and the MF. It was a great experiance.
