For this area waterparks are hoping to draw traffic from Cedar Point and the Islands and bring get tourists back after the summer is over.

OK, it's time for a new editor, for sure.

"Kalahari if planning and expansion and The Quality Inn on Cleveland Road is adding a water feature called Rain, adding water entertainment to its lineup."

It hurts to read. Come on, this is a professional publication. I review freshmen papers that have fewer errors than this.

I wonder if the online articles are the unedited versions. Or, is the paper REALLY that bad. The last few articles posted would bring shame to the editor of a high school newspaper.

I bet letters to the editor have better grammar than the real articles in the paper.

Wow. If I didn't know better, I would think that a middle school student had written the last few articles that I've read online. If they need a freelance editor (because either their current one is MIA or a middle school student it appears), I would be willing to do it for free. ;)

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

MS Word could do a better job than their current editor. Which begs the question: what the hell software do they use?

Budget cuts probably limited them to using notepad. ;)

Oh, and does anyone else find the seemingly random points of double and single spacing in the paragraphs very distracting and annoying? The constant one and two sentence paragraphs are also really bugging me. *** Edited 3/28/2007 3:43:27 PM UTC by BlueStreak64***
