Large Sizes a problem?

This will be our first visit to CP and I was wondering about the size of the seats. I'm what I like to call "Pooh Sized", I've never had a problem at WDW or Universal Orlando rides (love the Hulk and Dueling Dragons). Are there any "sample" seats outside to try? TIA

There are test seats posted outside Raptor, Wicked Twister, Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster. So you'll be able to check before getting in line.

There are test seats right outside the entrance to most of the major coasters where size can be a problem. Raptor, Top Thrill Dragster & Wicked Twister for example.

People seem to have the most trouble with Millenium Force to its seatbelts. They have very little wiggle room and are pretty unforgiving to the larger sized person.

I have NEVER had a problem with Magnum, and I don't know anyone who has. The only issue might be with leg room, but that has nothing to do with the seatbelts.

Oh, and the other ride you might have trouble with is Corkscrew. Somebody smoked a giant Dave Chappelle sized crack rock and then decided that seatbelts were necessary.

Exactly how large is a "Dave Chappelle sized crack rock"?

Just for future reference.

Oddly enough, he and I share the same birthday, his is just 3 years before mine.

Msr709, i belive the only coaster you might have a problem with would be MF. I have a build similar to what you descibe. Anything else should be no problem.

CCMR should have a test seat out front. Oy!

I have a front seat only policy for CCMR. After being stapled once last season I told myself I wouldn't go through that again. Getting comfortable is hard, but maneuvering your legs to get out of the train is a battle in itself.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

If you fit into the regular seats on DD and Hulk you should have no trouble with Raptor. Raptor does not have the "big boy" seats the DD and Hulk have. Also, depending on how tall you are, Mantis might be a problem.

The great news for you as well is that Maverick, which will be the hot ticket, is supposed to be more accomodating in terms of size....so I dont think you will have a problem there.

Like everyone else said, beware the seat of MF....

JuggaLotus, have you rode the front rows of the cars on Magnum? Generally the front rows give you more leg room. I am 5 foot 4 and I know those 2nd and 3rd rows are really tight. The same goes for Gemini, CCMR, MS, etc.

Yep, I've ridden in the front rows and I know they have more room. But I'm addicted to 1-3.

Thanks for all the replies! I am 5' 3" so I hope that height is not a problem. My nephew is 6' 2", will he have a height problem? (he does not have a weight problem). TIA

^ He's the same size as me and I never got told I was too tall on any ride even the OTSR coasters I never had problems on. I don't know about Mantis, I never got a chance to ride it so that maybe a question.
