I'm a past Sanduskian, and I grew up going to the point a lot, but now I'm living in Pittsburgh, and I have a research paper to do. Just wondering if there are any good spots on the net with some detailed information on the park, most places focus on rides, and CP's not just about the rides, i'm looking for history, attractions(like laser shows etc.), employment info, and whats to come of CP in the future.

Perhaps using your resources, this site, would help. There is a very spiffy history page and diffrent links. Perhaps that might help!

Why limit yourself just to the net? There are several books that focus entirely on CP. "Cedar Point, The Queen of American Watering Places" and "Fun at the Old Cedar Point" Cedar Point is mentioned in many other more generic coaster and amusement park books as well as on numerous TV specials and videos.

Cedar Point-on-Lake Erie is the only known Cedar Point historical web site on the Internet with all original content. It includes the history of Cedar Point with a comprehensive listing of all lost rides and roller coasters. The site also features over 175 postcards views and many brochures from years past. Lastly, the site has a before and after section which shows guests how things have changed over the years.
This should help ya!
