Question about Halloweekends

How is it different from the regular days at cedar point?? I know not many rides will be open but which coaster will be? Power Tower? Mantis?
Raptor? Demon Drop? I know MF will be open.
What exatcly is open

Fridays have limited ride availability, but the Saturday and Sunday are like any other days. Beyond that, they creep-out the Frontier Trail and have several haunted houses and Halloween shows. The fog on the trail last year was outstanding. I had some good times last year!

The effects are superb all over the park, even though I never made it into one of the haunted houses. I especially loved the fallen skyride car and the "dead ride" cemetary by the Magnum entrance.

Halloweekends is my favorite time of the year at Cedar Point...They have Seasonal Haunted tunes pumped throughout the park instead if the patriotic type music they normally play. The scenery is the best though...CP fills the park with ghosts, ghouls, cemetaries around every corner, and many many more creepy scenes!! Halloween is another fetish in life I have and for CP to combine this with the rides..I'm in pure heaven!! The shows are really proper for the spooky season as well...Do yourself a favor and check them out..especially the "jury" show near MF at the stage. The animatronics are real cool come Halloween...they use old Pirate ride props and School Busses to add to the eerie season!!

Yes, I too enjoy going on Halloweekends. I personally, like the haunted house in Disaster Transport.

Speaking of, does anyone know anything about the new theme on one of the haunted house's. I would presume it is going to be in place of the CP Cemetery, as they have been moving a great deal of things in there.

According to C.P.'s 1999 HalloWeekends Fright Guide, the following rides were open on Friday night: Demon Drop, Midway Carousel, Raptor, Cedar Downs, Cadillac Cars, Kiddy Kingdom (6 rides only), Matterhorn, Scrambler, Dodgem #2, Wildcat, Iron Dragon, Mine Ride, Mantis, Giant Wheel, Wave Swinger, Swan Boats, and Power Tower.

I'm sure that the listing for this year will be similar to last year with the addition of Millennium Force and probably the deletion of the Giant Wheel. I'm surprised that Disaster Transport doesn't run on Friday's considering that the Cedar Point Cemetery is in the same building.

Ride the haunted houses first thing. You will be surprised how short the lines are.

Whats the crowd like on Halloweekends? In terms of length of lines and stuff like that

crowds are generally smaller and more dispersed between rides and haunts..best way to describe it is a little bit better than an early season day..
