Summer Spectacular?

Haven't been to CP this year for Summer Spectacular, because it would be to packed to go on a Saturday. This year what rides are closed???

During the show, they always close the Iron Dragon, Wildcat, Dodgem (because of the lights), and the Space Spiral (lasers). I know MF isn't closed, and I don't think anything else is, either. The show has really changed a lot since last year, though!

No corkscrew is not closed during the show.

Last time I went to the Point Corkscrew was down. The ride attendant at the gate told me it was because of the laser show. I figured since one of the lasers is targeted on the water tower adjacent to the ride this must be why it is closed.

Hmmm, Now you've got me wondering...

The Giant Wheel also closes for the Laser show.

The Giant Wheel is closed? I knew that it was at it's old location, but now that it is farther a way, do they close it? Anyways, I wouldn't be the authority on anything.

Yep lasers pass right through it during the show. So it closes for saftey reason, woulnt want anyone to take a laser in the eyes :)

Isn't the CP & LE Railroad closed too? Forgot about that one.

FOr anyone who doesn't know: MF is NOT closed during this show. When I went this year I had a pit in my stomach thinking it would be closed, but I remember reading here it wasn't. The show provides some entertainment while waiting since the DJ spilts at 9:30

not as much entertainment as I'd like, seeing the backwards image on the screen and a few fireworks is all I got out of it from the MF queue. I wish the DJ would come back when it's over though.
