Best trip so far for 2000

This thread should be fun...
Most of us here have been to CP tons so far this year-what has been your BEST trip so far and WHY?

For me it would HAVE to be 2-the night before Coastermania, got 17 Raptor laps in that night! And of course Coastermania-that day will NEVER be topped no matter what! Besides the 7 laps on MF that day, lunch with some of my GTTP buds, the PM ERT time on Banshee was TOO fun - 12 laps in 45 minutes! (BTW-you can ride it sitting down, with one leg, no hands, name it we pretty much did it)
The BEST part for me however was meeting some of the nicest (and nuttiest) people I have ever met
the memories from Coastermania will forever be in my heart!! Can NOT wait till next years!!!
(hey Matt-check your shoelace!!) lol!

So for 2000 thats my most memorable trip so far and why (I have others too but will keep those to myself)

Welcome back Raptor riders-how was your flight??

I take it I would be considered a nuttier friend. Opening day and Coastermania. and check my shoelace...HA HA it is to laugh. Yup those nignt rides on Banshee made that my best trip ever to the point. (opening day 2nd because of MF). Who would have thunk it that Robin Innes decided to ride with us. And are you thinking of another name for Demon drop ;)

i dunno...my best trip this year? i've only had two, but i'd have to say that my first trip outranks the second by a little bit...first ride on MF(car FIVE), meeting JS, Hooper, Scooter and Gooober, lunch in the parking lot with Dark Time Now and Hooper, the amazing night ride on MF, which if not for the breakdowns would never have happened(and Hooper's play by play description after the unload station)and finally riding back right on Raptor ;). and of course i was with my boyfriend(Dark Time Now) and it WAS my graduation trip!!
but my second trip has excellent moments too...Magnum Newport photo(laughed so hard i cried), Hooper's "performances" on Mine ride and Gemini ;)(you class clown you) and the initiation of another CP-virgin(my buddy Louie, who is now addicted.) i guess i really can't pick between the two. guess i'll just have to go again and see if i can top the ones i have!!

I had the best trip of my life at CP just this past Tuesday, the 25th. The weather was great, crowds were low, we got to ride Millennium Force twice, and Magnum was only a 35min wait. Gemini, Corkscrew, and Mine Ride, were all walk-on's. I do have to say that the trip to CP was the best, but when we left the park, that all ended. The Day's Inn on Milan Road, didnt keep my reservation, they had it in the Computer, but they didnt save a room. After an hour of waiting in the lobby, they sent us back to the Green Tree Inn, and gave us a nice discount, for a good reason, the Green Tree Inn is the biggest dump of a hotel that I have ever seen. After all of our frustration we wanted to have a nice dinner at Friday's, at Radisson, they close at 10:00 which suprised me, our Friday's back here at home (WV) are open until 12:00am every night. We ended up at Pizza Hut, where we ran into the rudest people I have ever seen. Oh well, we had a good time at the park, thats all the matter!

Coastermania was be FAR the best day I've EVER had at CP. It was my first trip of the year, and boy was I going to make use of my 19 hours in the park!

I got on every coaster at least once.

Magnum-3(2 of my best EVER rides on Magnum)

The Guide to the Point Meeting on July Fourth. My trip with my family was up there as well.

Dispatch Master, This is Transport one! I'm losing control, I'm losing control!

I would say the best one was on June 13,14 Rode Millennium Force for the first time (3 hour wait. The thing that amazed me the second time that I rode Millennium Force was how faithful people are. The ride was down because of rain for about an hour. And almost nody left the line!!! Some people in the very front got the wave going. When we finially got to the platform two of the mechanicas had to ride in the car we were waiting for. So to make up for it they let us have front seat!

My best trip so far .... I would have to say costermania. During it I meet soome really cool coaster people, and found out about this site.
Now everytime I go to the park I look for GTTP people. I also like watching people read my GTTP shirt in lines, it is so hilarious.
IF you think Hooper is nuts alone wait till you see us together. I'm just thinking of Banshee now that was the best time ever! I can't wait to repeat it.

Media Day... 20 laps on The Force, free breakfast, free food, free on-ride photos, free MF polo shirts, two television interviews... what's not to like?

I would have to say the one with my cousin. We always have good fun. I have been 3 times this summer and it is the best out of all. My cousin and I have our little traditions. First she has to go to the McDonalds by my house for something to eat. Next we have to ride Demon Drop first. We have to ride Magnum at least once that day. And we have to eat at Pizza Hut before we go home. Even though I rode Millennium Force on my 2nd and 3rd trip, I still had the most fun on my first this year.

Definatly Coastermania fallowed by Opening day. That night ERT on Banshee was shweeeeeeet! Magnum without the trims is awsome as well (airtime city!). I loved Bashee though, after that I could'nt stop talking about it for weeks, lol. (It was my first Coastermania)
I can't wait for next year.
