High res satellite images of park?

Taipan

The ones on Google Earth/Maps is very poor quality.

Are there good quality hi-res ones?

Ben might still have it up.

Don't open it though - do a "right-click > save as"

Google Earth is a joke.

Too bad WLL isn't actually live.

And yes, Google Earth could be better, but the fact that you have the entire globe at your fingertips on your desktop is still a pretty crazy concept. If only they would update the images.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Agreed. I also think that the Google Earth is a much easier program to understand. It's just a very intuitive design.

If you can't see most of what is at your fingertips, what is the point?

It's Google Earth, not Google 'look at your favorite Amusment Park close-up!!'

You have missed the point.

Whats the point? The fact that google earth is providing decent images taken with a camera from a couple hundred miles above the earths surface isn't good enough? WLL provides great images, but only of specific areas. Their entire system isn't composed of the "birds-eye" images, Cedar Point just happened to be one of the first places that got recorded. Heck, even the entire property of Disney World isn't in as BEV yet. Google Earth is doing a pretty good job providing what they do.

Goodbye MrScott

Google earth is like a Collage of sattelite pictures. Some are very high quality and some (like CP) are patches of green. CP is just green on google earth yet I see my homepark of SFGAdv perfectly fine.

There's an easy fix, guys. Pool your money together and buy your own satellite. Or, just use what's available.
