I never cared for watching other people walk on. I guess it kind of goes back to some kind of social/money class thing. Sure, they paid the money but it also kind of makes a guest in line feel somewhat second rate. I like Fastpass system (Disney) in this way because anyone can get one. VIP guests can also use the Fastpass lines as well but aren't limited to the one Fastpass at a time thing. It's too bad most fastpass attractions miss out on some of the preshow.

I'd laugh if a VIP guest had an armfull of stamps ;)

Six Flag's Flashpass makes "regular" park guests for more like a second-class citizen than anything I've ever seen. CP's system isn't nearly as intrusive on the line as Six Flags. I also agree that Disney has the best system I've seen. Free for everyone and very easy to use.

Disney's system is amazing, but I can't see CP putting up the kind of money it would take to implement something like that.

I have a question: Is saying that there's a 4-person minimum just a handy way to say that the package costs $1400 for up to four people? For instance, if I wanted to take two friends, couldn't I just pay $1400 and be done with it? I can't imagine CP turning me down just because I don't have the 4th person. Right?

If you pay for it, I don't see why they'd turn it down.

I believe that means if you want to do it with two people, it would be $800. If you had three people, it would be $1200. That makes it less than the $1400. :)

Well, I said $1200 because in your post, you said you wanted to take two friends. But you're right, it could be done for $800 with just two people.

dj - your post made is sound like you were taking two people WITH you, not a TOTAL of two. that's probably why jeff said $1200.

i'm thinking about doing this when i go with my friend on the 10th. i'm so tempted just so i can ride that many coasters over and over and over again. :)

i'm sure the extra fee is to offset the cost of the "escort". its more efficient to have one escort per 4 people than it is to have just 2 people walking around with a guide.

even at $400 a person, i think its a bargain to ride whatever you want WHENEVER you want. it'd be even more beneficial if the escort was cool and had some fun trivia tidbits about the park.

Yeah, I forgot the specifics of my original post, as they were just made up.

7 Photos = 7 x $8 = $56
Ticket = 1 x $40 = $40
Parking = 1 x $9 = $9
TOTAL = $105

So, for $295, you're paying for the conveniences of basically riding as much as you want, getting good seats at the shows and possibly learning a thing or two about the park. Not too terrible, I suppose.

Don't forget about getting good seats at the restaurant. ;)

Now, if food were included with the deal, I'd be 100% sold on it.
