CP History Questions

Hey Pointers, I'm working on a research project here I need the years & dates for the following.

What year did they take down the huge Cedar Point sign that was on Cleveland Road?

Does anyone know the exact date the the Ticket to Ride went into effect?

Does anyone know the the exact date the rock climbing wall opened?

The Disaster Transport sign that they had on the building underneith the 12-E logo what year did that disapear?

I may be totally off.. but serving just off my memory alone.. I believe the huge Cedar Point sign as you turned onto the causeway held it's last year in 1996, when Mantis opened. That was my first year at the Po!nt, and I remember seeing it, but it was gone in 97.. exact dates, I couldn't help ya with though.

I'm not positive either but I think the DT sign went down the second year of Halloweekends, due to that being the cemetary entrance.
So I think it was 98!

The large Disaster Transport sign went down during the 1991 season. I have a picture of it opening year and gone during the 1992 season.

FYI: Rumor has it that the Sign was used as one of the boards of the Mean Streak Queue tunnel. Of course truth would tell us it was stored in the bone yard. Though it may have been removed for Millennium Force track storage. If it is still there it would be right next to the old Ice Cart.

Dan..the cleveland rd CP signs last season was 96..was gone by the 97 season in looking back at my pics...
