Shouldn't we celebrate today

One year ago today CP announced the greatest ride yet. I remember the exact moment my son called to tell me to check out the CP website press release. It was my son's 18th birthday, I think he wished that he could have ridden it that day. Since that day one year ago I have read everything I can get my hands on about the ride and have become a CP junkie/snob.

I guess if it was a year ago today that they announced Millenium Force (that is the "greatest ride yet" you're referring to, right?), we can all get hype for announcements of new ride(s) at other parks.

You know... maybe it's due to the fact that I just recently rode the ride (earlier this week), but not a day goes by without thinking about it.

You're not the only one that needs help. I think about CP all the time, yet I have only been there twice in my entire life. My only trip there this year was a bust. But since then I have been having the strangest dreams about the park and especially MF. I KNOW I need help! :)

1 year and 1 day since the press release, and still...

MF Ride Count: 0

Twice... try once! I'm hooked, too. A two-day trip, and it's all it took.

As for the dreams, I had them before, during (the one-night stay), and still have them after going.

i had an MF dream the other day(afternoon nap) and i swear i could FEEL myself going over the Magnum hill...i got it BAD. was watching a re-run of the coaster show on MSNBC Saturday. got my boyfriend to watch it too...he saw Raptor footage, swore, and skulked out of the room. i said "What?". "Now i wanna go back" he said...WOO HOOO!!! so maybe i will get a fix later on!! either way, MF is all there is in my mind these days.

I've been to CP once, and the first ride I went on was MF. what a rush!!!! Now I'm hooked and I keep going to MF & CP fan sites!! I can't live now... well I probably can, but you get the point... ahh point, gotta get to The Point...

Yeah, I was going to start a whole new topic about it, but I guess it wasn't needed...:) It's hard to believe it's only been 2 years since the announcement. It seemed like an eternity for me (10 1/2 months) to ride MF for the first time after I saw the announcement.

I had to wait about 12 1/2 months. It was a very long winter, spring and early summer.

I don't know how proud of this I should be, but I actually counted the days from the announcement to the day I rode it.  380.  That's one year and 15 days.  That was without a doubt the longest summer of my life.  My how time has flown since then though.
