The loudest bathrooms in the world!!

So some buddies and I went to the Point on May 9th or something (the first Tuesday it was open I think). After the 3 hour car ride it was time to take a pit stop. We hit the main entrance bathrooms to find that they have got to be the world's loudest bathrooms. You walk in and the music is cranked to about a billion, and they have got jet engines for hand dryers... What's up with that?

Anyone else had this experience? Is it still that loud? I understand the dryers, but why the crazy loud music (which somehow the dryers drown out)? It was funny, and I really couldn't stop laughing due to it being so loud, but man!

What?

I kinda like the loud music, it beats listening to whatever the guy next to you is doing.

I agree but he's gotta be doing something pretty crazy loud to hear it, I would think...

Indeed. Those are hands down the best dryers I have experienced in my life. And hey, they actually DRY my hands instead of just heat up the water that's on them.

Yes it is nice to have music playing in the restrooms. But should not be deafening. You should have filed a complaint. A friend of mine did so earlier this year when the restrooms by Magnum were too loud. Since then, they have been turned back down.

I wish I had one of those 'jet engine' dryers in my house. The first time I used one this year it blew me away. ;)

Hey, be glad the music is working now. A few weeks ago the music would play, then after about 2 minutes you would just hear this really loud, deafening noise.

Sounds like the speakers by maXair's line that rarely ever work this year (at least when I've been there), and when they do songs sometimes cut out randomly, blare really loud, cycle through two or three songs for about 20 minutes, etc...

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

I must agree, the hand dryers are quite powerful. In fact, they blow depressions in my skin, showing the veins! And I'm puny! lol

If the bathroom is clean then there shouldn't be a compliant. I agree with MrScott. I feel like I just wasted my time reading this.

Waste your time or not, thanks for the input of: "No you aren't crazy aighead, I've been in that bathroom before and it is crazy loud, all the time!" Or maybe "They do that so you don't think that Demon Drop will crash through the walls and into the stalls!" See that was fun AND it rhymed...

I wasn't even complaning anyway, just saying it's the loudest bathroom I've ever heard. If you don't like a post there is no rule that forces you to reply.

How about a thread titled 'dirtiest (sp?) bathroom in the world'. The winner would go to the one near Magnum. No papertowel, water on the floor, toilet paper everywhere, humid as hell. It was bad. I told an employee who happened to be walking by.

One would hope that is the next bathroom on the list of bathrooms to be rehabbed. :)

Someone ask Monty about it if they get lunch with him. ;)

I agree. I know there's no turnstiles to keep track (maybe they count flushes instead ;)), but that has to be one of the busiest restrooms in the park. It definitely seems to be plenty gross a lot of the time.
