I'm guessing it's a point to mount electronics or sensors on... Never seen one before. It'll be neat to see where it ends up!

No, that is just flat track, which would never be used for a launch. A launch usually uses box track.

By looking at the pieces, my first guess would be that it goes in the loading station for duel track loading. One car loads while the track moves the loaded car to the begining of the ride. The "bike rack" supports are part of the system that moves the track for loading and unloading.

This brings two cool ideas to mind. One, that it takes a while to load....Cool...many restraints equals slower loads and a more intense ride. and number two, Cedar Point still cares about capacity so hopefully the line will go faster.

Sorry for the mess. Signature under construction.

That's the piece of track David Blain will stand on for a week straight, and then jump into a bunch of boxes.

Just goes to show you what I keep saying is true. You can't judge a ride by the track type.

I was thinking some sort of section for split track. I would like to see dual load on this ride.

Good find exit... I haven't see a 2 rail launch either... And, check yourself before you wreck yourself is always funny.

I'm now convinced that I'll not be convinced of what it is until I see it slapped up somewhere.

According to the pics it could be a seagull mount.

That would be sweet! It's a lot of walking, they should rent out bikes at the park! Briiing, briiiing! Or rent out little kid tricycles.
