Anyone know if.when they're opening this ride this year? Was there yesterday and it wasn't even filled.

The ride's circut was blown when they re-wired it for the season. They are getting a new circut board shipped in from Intamin and once installed it will be re-filled and opened. I got this info from some good buddies at the park.

How much longer is it going to take for them to get the part and get Grizzly Run working properly? I wanted to ride it the past two times that I've been there and it's down. :-(

I was there on Sunday and was wondering the same thing. I checked with Guest Relations and they told us it would be open in a month.

So is it going to be very soon or in a month? Or is very soon equal to a month? There was no one working over there at all from what I could tell at the look-out deck on Saturday.

Circuit board replacement? Not even close to the real reason why it has been down. Who ever gave you that info Invertalon better go back to there source and double check. The real problem has been fixed and the pond as of Monday has been filling up.

Must need some bigger pumps. Was there on 6/27 and they still have a long way to go.

The pond is filled with water from the lake and takes about 3 days to fill. The pump was turned on about 1:00pm Monday afternoon. There is only one pump that does the job of filling the pond. Next time you walk by ripcord look between the two runways and you will see the pump and valves.

It's kinda cool to really know why things are not running and to read what you guys think or hear is going on. As for Belaire, I would really like to let you know why it's closed but as you all might know I could lose my job giving up such info. In the meantime, just enjoy the rest of the summer at GL.

I'll take that as it's not because of the old waterpark, and we'll leave it at that... :)

Hmm. Me smell a mystery. All right, GLridemechanic, spill the beans. They have ways around here of making you talk. Just confess now, before it affects your credit rating. ;)

I was just there today 6/30 and they had water running through the flume but they did not open it. It will probably be open really soon.

GLridemechanic what was the real reason why it was closed?

CPFan420, We were testing the ride yesterday and adding chemicals to the water to get ready for the state ride inspectors to look at it today. The ride passed the inspection and is officially opened for the season. Oh, by the way, It was closed because a giant UFO landed in the pond back in March and was under investigation by the FBI.
