Best Day To Ride

What is the best day of the week to visit Cedar point. I know it is always busy, but is there any day that is alittle less crowded?

My Crowd calculating machine tells me that the park will not be crowded on Fridays in Octember. Of course it also told me that the supper bowl would only be half full last year.

I don't know why people ask me why I bring a fish finder to the Super Bowl and Cedar Point. What the hay is a fish finder?

Okay, Okay. Enough with the bad jokes and sarcasm. Predicting which days the crowds will be highest is like trying to guess the expiration date of the carton of milk you just bought from the local party store. It can't be done.

The park put on there website that Tuesday and Wednesday are good times but I beg to differ. It all depends on if there are groups there for one. You want to avoid those at all costs.

You can never tell which days are going to be busy ones.For instance..if the CP website tells you that Wed and Thurs are light days..wouldnt everyone reading that go on those days which would make the park crowded?Weekends are normally mobbed due to that everyone usually has off on weekends.Thats customary for any park.I find that going on the off season(May and September)is light and holidays.So if you want a relatively light day..wait till Labor day.(lol)

July and August are always really bad, but as a rule most weekdays are a teeny bit better. Which one? Well, you'd better hope whichever one you're going! Magnum -- you're right about the groups. They can really make the difference. To find out about those, just call the park and ask if any group is going to be catered on those days -- some days, there are 3-4 different ones at the same time!

Just from personal experience, I've noticed that Fridays and Sundays are actually two of the least-busiest days at the park. Mondays for some reason always seem to be very crowded. But indeed, it's really hard to guess how busy a certain day is. Just hope for the best.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are the least busiest over all.
