Hey! Just got back from our trip to Dorney park and SFGA, and I see supports...I agree the site looks pretty much the same. It does not appear that I missed any aireal shots. Hmm. Looks like we know as much as we did a week ago. :) Great update, though Walt!

Please explain that the next time someone complains about not having updates every six hours. :)

Whether or not I get stabbed for asking a question, those blue footers are the old footers of White Water Landing aren't they?

^no, but the ones in the foreground of this photo are. They are square and you can see that the concrete has a worn look.

Ok. Today I asked my most trusted silver tag. He said it wouldn't be a record breaker i.e. the 500 ft tall coaster being reported in Sandusky media. Also at the park I've heard that it will have the most inversions of any coaster. Hmm..I hope it is both. That would own. I hope it isn't like Hydra at Dorney. I wasn't impressed really, except for the loop fresh out of the gate.

CP Tay Tay, those are molds for making the footers. They set the footer rods (actual name has escaped me) in them and they are then filled with concrete.

I know there hasn't been much change, but for our friends far away something is better than nothing. I remember when I lived in Texas for a year there was nothing better than the construction of millenium force. Some people are not as lucky as others and thats the only reason I lug my camera around to show dirt being moved around. Thanks to Walt for updating anyways though. :) Also remember when vertical construction starts everday will bring new changes, then I don't know too many people that will be questioning all the pictures.... ;)

LOL at "footer rods" :D

If you cover them with salt could you eat them like pretzels?

I think rebar is the word you're looking for.

By the way I charge by the letter ;)

After our first trip to Dorney, my wife and I were also less than impressed with Hydra.

Well, that's only a separation of 1 day between those two updates. I was there Wednesday, and then again Saturday, and there are quite a few changes taking place very quickly, to be completely honest.
