2001 prediction for C.P.

for now for starters new RV park with swiming pool
also in the boneyard will be taken out,they will build cabins back there to rent.also in the park
new small wooden coaster.remake of the cyclone(C.P.)and small rides.I also belive that the true height of M.F.will come to light soon.

Ok, what do you mean by that. MF height is 310feet. Do you know something that we dont know?

Wow- i'm suprised that you said that, where'd you get clearance for it? I knew about some of it, but to post it here?? BTW: When he's talking about the true height, I he means that he thinks that Cedar Point said that MF was shorter that it really is. If Spaland is telling the truth, that Cedar Point could still have the world record!!! Remember that coaster is only going to be 318 ft... I thought Cedar Point said they won't really build any thing until 2002.

Um, could he mean that MF is actually TALLER than 310' ft, but CP said 310' so that anyone that planned to try to beat that height after the announcement last summer (read Steel Dragon) would fall short - and then CP would say, oh, gee, we measured MF & it's actually 320 feet? (I don't know if I believe that scenario, but it's the only thing I can figure off the top of my head that might have been meant by the above comment).

Wow, that would be the coolest thing in the entire world if Cedar Point did that. I would laugh so hard. I never thought about them doing something like that before. That would catch everyone off-guard.

do belive that M.F. is taller then stated,the truth will come out soon.but it could be steel dragon could be taller to,we will find out togather.

CP said that the plans next year would change the look of the park. I could see it including rides. I don't think CP is going to tell us that yet.

This MF height stuff, all I have to say is huh???????? Why would they lie about MF's height?@#!$?

Ummm....why would Cedar Point lie about the height of the world's tallest ride, to make it seem smaller than what it is? They had the record anyways, and will always have the right to say that they built the first ride over 300 feet, but it would just be silly to say it is shorter than what it is, as the more height the more attractive the coaster is to everyone. It's not a game, this is a business. Millennium Force is 310 feet tall.

I could see CP doing the height thing. It is a good idea because they would still own the bragging right of having the world's tallest coaster 2 years in a row.

People get real!!! Do you really think that CP would lie out their you know what to the media. If they were to tell everyone that MF is 310' tall and come back at the end of the season and say that it is actually 320' tall, don't you think this would create a negative PR problem with the media???????????? Something like that would only cause the media to be unfair and unbalanced in the future with CP. You guys are just looking for anything to extend it's name in Guiness. It's not like Magnum in 1989 with a couple of years with the record. It's the year 2000 now and we are deep into a major coaster war and records are going to be broken faster than ever. Actually, I'm surprised MF had the height record at all, I thought that more parks would jump in on the action this year to have a 300+ ft tall coaster in hopes of having the world's tallest in Y2K.

...plus look at the bright side. Morgan and Intamin are two different types of coasters, MF may end up keeping the speed record.

The Millennium Force is 310. ft. tall. Cedar Point would never lie about a height of a coaster. Steel Dragon is taller, so face it! But look at it like this MF, will probley end up having more records. 80 degree drop! SD will only have a 60 degree drop. Cedar Point will end up breaking the 400 ft. barrier in the near future and if CP don't do it, someone else will. We won't have to wait anothor 10 yr. for the next 100 ft. It will happen quicker much quicker. 3-5 yr. Maybe CP will build another big one in 2 or 3 yr. Who knows.
