Pregnant mommy CP lovers...

I am 6 months pregnant and am DYING to go to Cedar Point. But we all know that pregnant women cannot ride rollercoasters :( It sucks terribly. Everything I see reminds me of CP. Especially the tree outside of my bedroom window. I don't know, I can just picture a huge coaster behind it. lol.

I was just wondering if there were any other pregnant women here going through the same thing right now? Or even soon to be daddys that are going through this withdrawl because their wifes are pregnant and they don't want to leave her behind so they can't go to CP eathier. Or maybe even mommys that arn't pregnant now, but have been through this.

Believe me...it is much worst than coping through the off season, or just not being able to make it to the park. Atleast then you have the tiniest bit of hope that you can go. But knowing that you cannot go no matter WHAT, and all of your friends are going...really really sucks. lol.

Hopefully we will make it for Halloweekends. Cross your fingers!

I can relate...I was in the same position 5 (wow! time flies) years ago. Even though I was pregnant I still had a season pass and made several trips to the park. Although rollercoasters are definitely out, there's still plenty to do...calm rides, shows, soaking up the atmosphere and food!

My son was born in September and made his first trip to the Point closing day that year when he was 4 weeks old. He's now 4-1/2 and LOVES Cedar Point. So even though you are missing out now, you have a lot of great times ahead to look forward to. Good luck!

Well, look on the bright side - next year, when you make it to the park, there will be a nice brand new shiny red coaster waiting for ya'!

"PARENT SWAP" isn't talked about too much but it is really a nice program for park visitors with small children. It allows for more rides for everyone in the family. After you have your baby and you come back to the park be sure to stop at Guest Relations just inside the gate to get a swap form.

Ummm the child might need to be born before they can swap it.
