Finally...a return trip!

Well, folks, it looks like I'll finally get a second chance to ride MF. My July plans fell through, opening up next week for me to zip out to Ohio to try to get on the blue monster once again. Since I went on May 22 the first time, and it was closed all day, I never got a chance to ride it. (was looking forward to being one of the first too.) Now, it looks like I'll be heading up there again. I'll probably go Mon. Tue. or Wed. of next week, depending on weather. If I get there when the park opens, there should be no problem with the TTR and getting on a bunch, right? I'm so excited!

Go when there is a chance of rain or thunderstorms to avoid crowds.

Live for FUN!

GO SHAMROCKS!
GO WOLVERINES!
Everytime I've gone in the past 3 years, it says either rain or T-storms, and guess what, not a drop.
You better knock on wood CP_bound!!!
A LITTLE bit of rain doesn't shut down much (if anything), you just don't want a huge storm that lasts all day. Go on a day when a little rain or sprinkles is predicted. It might rain a little, but you avoid crowds a lot.
i looked at the long-term forecast for July, and there are severe thunderstorms predicted for 19 out of 31 days...and here in Illinois, it has rained for 59 of the last 61 days. at this rate, EVERY day will have rain prdicted and eventually, people will stop staying home just because a little rain is coming.
it's been raining here for 12 hours straight now.

ride early, ride often!!!
The thing is, people come from long distance to Cedar Point, and if they see the extended forecast (which usually changes by the night before) predicts t-storms or whatever, they'll postpone their trip, just cause they don't want to risk it. Just my opinion...
I just knocked on my desk if that counts. ;)
