Least Busy Day

Hello,

I am considering a trip to Cedar Point in about a month, while I visit family and friends in Ohio.

I would like to kindly ask you all for your opinion as to which is the least busy day of the week to visit the Park. Last time I visited CP was in 1993 and I am looking forward to go back. Any ideas that would help me spend less time waiting on line will be greatly appreciated.

There isn't really a way to tell what the crowds will be like on any given day. Generally middle of the week is less busy than weekends, but they are still pretty busy. Weather also factors in heavily as to how busy things will be on any given day.

holidays are the least busy days. i don't know about fourth of july, but i know father's day is usually dead.

I agree with MrScott. Monday could not have been any slower and for the park to stay open. The park didn't make any money yesterday and thats fine. 5 minute waits for Millenium and Dragster.Hell yea!!!

May 8 was surly the best day at the point. I've never seen every ride and coaster (other than MF and TTD) leave with only two or three rows full. Power Tower only ran one tower on each side. The Space Shot side was actually waiting for riders during the day. I was walking by TTD 10 minutes before closing and noticed there was only about 10 people in the station. The weather was great and I saw more upper management walking around than I've ever seen before. That's has to be a good thing. I was only a few feet away from Mr. Kinzel at one point, but I didn't notice until he was walking away. I always wanted to say hi and get a picture. I rode a total of 37 different rides and did some of them over again. Skyhawk and maXair were the only disappointments.

I got 130+ pictures out of this one day as well. That is double the amount I've ever taken in the past. I accomplished everything I wanted too.

CP never lets me forget why I love the place so much. :)

PLEASE don't tell any of your friends about the first Monday of the season. :)
