Great a whole bunch of guys on a beach.....yippie. I know its for a good cause and all, but I'd rather see a picture of dirt on the main page.

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.

Hey, not only is it a good cause, some claim that kind of thing to be healthy.

My town has that tradition in the beginning of January every year. It was started by our now 108 year old crossing guard at the elementary school. People take a quick dip in the Maumee River and apparentely it is healthy. The crossing guard has said that is what has kept him living so long.

I have more pictures, but not of the second group running in. When they ran, I started taking video.

(To clarify, the air temperature was 30 degrees. The water temperature of the lake never goes below 33 degrees. I'm sure some of you smart college types know why. :) )

Beautiful photo gallery as always Walt. That one shot of the entry point into that water - brrrr! Man, I bet that was cold. At least some of them were more naturally insulated than others. ;) Kudos to all those participants for raising money for a good cause.

I love water. I HATE cold water. ...And as far as it being healthy... ??

(keep up the good cause though!)

Why would the water tempature never drop below 33 degrees? i know the sandusky bay side freezes a'little, right? muffelhead eggs keep it from dropping in temp?!?
