What happened to the "F"...?

Yesterday at Cedar Point I was suprised to see that the "F" on the big Millennium Force sign was gone and all that was left was the glue that would have kept it on.

Does anyone know what happened to it?

Was it vandalized? Did wind rip it off?(improbable)


What ever happened to it, it is an eye sore.

Who would take the big F. I mean when ever I see a man walking down the midway with a giant silver F in his hands I become a little suspicious.

What kind of person would come by and just take the "f" in Force? I imagine that something just happened to it, they took it down, and will soon replace it. I agree Magnum1989- if someone was walking down the midway with a giant silver "F" in their hands, I would be a bit suspicious, too.
I hope it is back to its rightful home Saturday when I go;)

I'm not saying that some DID take it, but if someone would, they could just wait till night when the park is dead and no one is around.-just nightly workers.

It could be vandalism but, I don't think anyone would actually be able to take it. Someone probaly put gum on it or smashed it.

When I was looking at it Monday I noticed it wasn't on very well, so it probably fell off.

Millennium Orce... nice name. I took one of those huge park maps that say "You are here". I stuck it under my shirt and left

IT WASN'T ME!! It was there Tue. Some friends saw me wed. and told me to put it back! LOL
That's not the 1st time they had problems with the letters. I have a pic showing duck tape holding the bottom of the "E". So,I'm sure it just fell off.

Ahhhh yes. Duct tape how useful you are. When I was there last week the letters looked pretty scratched up.

Actually, "Millennium Force" without the "F" is not as strange as the parking lot sign I once saw at Kings Island. As you may know, the general theme of the place is carried out to ridiculous lengths, including the naming of the parking areas after cartoon characters.

The last time my family was there, I noticed the "S" from the "Scrappy-doo" parking area sign had fallen off. I thought it was a good way of comparing PKI's also-ran status to CP.

At SFO, The Villain's station and que are so very in bad shape, that the sign that says The Villain is missing letters. So everyone has to ride the new Vil n.

On Thursday, I walked by the Force and there was no F, but when I came back like 2 hours later, the F was there. I guess it just fell off and no one got around to putting it back up.
