How come Gemini is having so much problems with the rollbacks? Did this happen alot last year. Hopefully they will fix it..this is a really fun ride and id hate to see it not working at full potential.

It happens all the time because the 2nd hill/turn is too tall.

Sounds like another arrow boo boo. Although I don't remember any rollbacks last year

Why don't they put a chaindog on that second hill (similar to the ones on Blue Streak).

How often does it rollback?

Actually, the blue side is a bigger problem than the red side because of the angle and distance it must travel up the second hill and because of the way the wind gusts hit that spot of the track. The blue trains must be consistently weighted more heavily than the red trains. Both sides are sandbagged every morning if there is a slight possiblily of rollback (cold, wind, rain)and they were both weighted on the 2 rollback mornings.

Which side rolled back? I know blue did first, but how about the 11th?

I rode Gemini on the 21st blue side. And it sorta felt like it crept over the second hill? Also on the transfer track was the train that rolledback

can someone please explain these rollbacks- is it when the train doesnt make it over the second hill and just falls back???

well i liked the gemini i thought i was a pretty smooth ride i didnt notice any problems going up the second hill(though i wasnt really paying attention) but hearing all of this makes me a lil' scared to ride it again.

Don't be. Generally, once the train makes it around the circuit once, it will be fine for the rest of the day. Gemini has been like this since Day #1.
