Wasn't this a previous post, like 2 years ago? Just wondering.

I have been on it at 129mph.

Back in 2003 or 2004, the ride had been down for a few days, and the day I was there it was raining pretty hard. They were testing it anyways (even though it was raining). I guess that they figured it didn't matter; it needed the testing and there would be no one riding it. But I saw it hit from 137-143 and still not make it over the hill and rollback. I think I have a video or a picture of it somewhere...

I think readings like that is just the speedometer misjudging the speed.
But hey, anything's possible.

I thought that too, but I also thought that maybe because of the wind and the rain, that it really was going that fast in an attempt to get it to go over. Anybody have any idea how much rain effects the launch of a train?

The rain seems to slow down the train significantly. I was there tonight and it had a hard time while it was still wet, rolled back quite a few times.

The highest I saw tonight was 125.
