Titanic Heffer... now that is funny stuff.

And you forgot "Totally Hairless", which is actually the name of the ride coming for '06. Seriously, I heard it in line. It goes 793mph, and if you don't wear a protective suit, it leaves you as the name suggests...

Oh c'mon, we all know that total hair-removal doesn't occur until 794mph. Therefore the drawings for that ride would have to state ATH-xx for 'Almost Totally Hairless' and its plainly obvious that there is no A. So you're wrong, we won't be getting 'Totally Hairless' in 06 ;)

Someone in the know told me that "TH" stands for Travis Hafner.

That's what I was thinking of. I'm a huge Indians Fan so my first thought was Travis Hafner. Anyone watch the game last night? That was freakin awesome!! GO TRIBE!!!!

At least the Tribe is In Contention this year, unlike your Tigers who are second to last place in the Central Division. We are also 5 1/2 games behind the Chicago White Sox. Not to Dog you JuggaLotus, but the Tribe is a better team this year. *** Edited 9/14/2005 8:11:35 PM UTC by Shawn Meyer***

The tigers suck... i know i am a detroiter but i am tough on my teams.

Actually if you think about it, Cedar Point is the place that started all this online behind-the-scenes at amusement parks first. Just because Holiday World had the first blog doesn't mean Cedar Point wasn't first with all their construction updates and diaries from Monty Jasper way back in 1999. Cedar Point's website has ALWAYS been the most informative about goingings-on in the park compaired to any other park in the world. This is just an evolutions of that.

Rider is right. When Boomerang Bay at Kings Island was under construction, there were hardly any updates for it unless you went to unofficial website of PKI. When Kingda Ka opened at SixFlags Great Adventure you didn't see any updates on the Six Flags site, you had to go to Screamscape.com to find that out. Cedar Point is the only one that goes in-depth behind the scenes during the off-season or during the season.

What was this?

SFGAdv did a pretty good job using its website for construction updates. I've been looking at some pictures of KK latly, and wow, I thought TTD's station was cool looking. Both get my vote for the best stations.

Well, whoever ran the site and updated pictures should learn to count. Take a look at Oct. 15 (the one captioned "Line 'er up! (close up shot 4 men)").

I'm not suprised there are more parks doing these kind of updates. In fact, I was disappointed in Monty's coverage of the maXair construction last winter/spring. Of course, there also wasn't enough really going on to report on, but I wanted the bi-weekly updates similar to what we got for MF.
