History question for ya'll

Was there ever a coaster at CP known as the Bobcat? This would have been there prior to the arrival of the Wildcat. Was this possibly the original name of the WC that sat near the funhouse (man I miss that thing)? I recall many, many years ago (Carter administration) my folks talking about it.
Anyone have any info to clear up a clouded memory?

There was a previous version of the Wild Cat that was called the Wild Cat. It sat where TSFKA Oceana now sits. They sent it to Valley Fair and replaced it with the present Wild Cat. There is a picture of it over in the Historical section of the photo gallery of this site.
