Park Expansion?

I have just heard that CP may expand into the parking lot in 2002. The entire lot will be relocated toward the mainland. This will give CP tons of room for more rides. I cannot reveal the source of this, but this is true.

CEDAR POINT has enough room!!! They dont need anymore room for a long time!!!

Do you really want Cp to relocate or tear down smaller attractions every year so they can fit in newer, larger rides? This way, they will not have to tear out anymore of Frontier Trail or anywhere else. I don't know how many acres the parking lot is, but many more rides will fit in there. Besides, CP will profit from the expansion, which equals more rides.

I think It would be a huge change if they did that, rides like Raptor would no longer be at the front of the park, but In the middle. Would they extend the main midway all the way down? Also that would become quite a walk, and could they fill the parking lot with enough rides soon enough so it doesnt just look all plain and empty? I can see them doing this, but I'm guessing not any time too soon, and it would happen slowly.
