How do rumors start....

Here's one known source of rumors, the employees. One of the kids at my school today tried telling me MF goes 108mph, and I argued its not possible, but she wouldn't back down because "my sister said so and she works there." Just though I'd share.

How about the infamous 'uncle' that everyone seems to have that works for CP planning? It usually goes like this- "I have an uncle who works for CP in their planning dept.. He told me that they are building a floorless, looping, wooden giga-coaster for 2001 along the beach going underwater". LOL

Rumors coming from the employees are the best. I still beleive in the floorless, within the next two years.

Let's not forget the infamous "Magnum is Sinking" rumor created by one of the employees. I believe her screen name is Jenn.

I think it's a matter of people bored stiff on some night and think they are still in RCT Land. "Destroy this and then put this over it, and then...."

It's a theory anyway ;)

This 107mph rumor got to my school last week-"my sister went there and the MF Ride Op. said they clocked it at 107", as quoted by a friend of mine. I then went into a detailed rant about how it is IMPOSSIBLE with the height, but no one ever believes me on this stuff. I calmly referred him to this site, and he shut up.:)

There were some idiots at my school who doubted me with MF stuff. One of them said that their sisters friend works at CP and she said that they clocked MF at 150!!!!!! I tried to explain the stupidity of this statment to him, but he did'nt belive me untill I showed him this site.

I think that CP's floor-less coaster will appear in the next few years, like Dan does. I also think that they will break the inversion record with it, too! Well, at least I hope so! ;)
