Maxair

How many have ridden Maxair? Is it not the most awesome ride ever? I could spend all day on just that! Love it Love it Love it!!! I think it contains the best part of the coaster rides. Air time! This 61 year old granny gives it 10 stars!

I love maXair, and after riding Delirium at PKI, I was thrilled when CP made the announcement for their own ride.

I, actually, think it's not the most awesome ride ever. I'm not trying to stir anything up, just a matter of opinion. I found it very tame from what I was expecting.

It's fun and all, the airtime is GREAT, but I wouldnt wait more than 20, MAYBE 30 minutes for it. *** Edited 7/24/2005 4:42:41 PM UTC by Grovite18***

i thought it was 1 of the best thrill rides ive ever been on... i still would rather a good coaster or power tower... but its still 1 of my favs

My opinion is that maXair is no coaster, but it's an excellent ride.

It gave a nice face lift to the front of the park.

I haven't ridden it YET, but in about a month I'll give it a whirl because I've heard many great things about it.

Woo... what can I say? It is intense, non headbanging, and quite a big rush. I personally love it. The only thing that's weird about it is that you may have to look up to see down. That is a very weird feeling.

I had seat 12. It rocked.

Definitely my favourite flat ride at the Point (I use "flat" loosely...). Surprisingly smooth, loads of fun, and not too hard on the stomach, either.

I agree that it doesn't do much on the stomach. No rides at CP, except Baloon Race, do much to my stomach. maXair is probably in a close second though... not because of the full swings, but the last minute of the ride where you just keep spinning, but the swinging doesn't off-set it enough to keep you from feeling dizzy... Just my two cents

I just enjoyed riding a new ride, having anxiety just because I've never riden it before. The ride itself was decent, the few times it was at it's pinnacle was fun. I think the addition of this ride to CP is way better than the ride itself, if that makes sense.

Second favorite ride in the park!

I think that it's best at night...if you can avoid the bugs/swarms of bugs :)

I also loved that ride, but was nervous about riding it since the spinny/swingy rides usually get my stomach. It was great though and didn't bother me at all. Lots of fun!
